Nairobi surprised me in the most beautiful ways. I arrived expecting a busy African capital ( As it is widely known as ) Having left my homeland Ethiopia for further studies in Russia when I was only 17 years old, Nairobi was the first city in East Africa I had longed to visit. What I found instead was a city that effortlessly blends raw nature, deep-rooted culture, bold flavors, and refined modern luxury—a city that knows who it is and isn’t afraid to show it.
