East Africa is on the global football map this August as Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania prepare to co-host the 2024 TotalEnergies African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024) — a tournament postponed from 2024 and now rescheduled to run from August 2 to August 30, 2025.This marks the first time in history that the CHAN tournament will be hosted jointly by three nations, serving as a crucial trial run ahead of AFCON 2027, which will also be co-hosted in the region.
